Pilates
Challenging enough for most people and great for those who haven’t tried pilates yet. Pilates is focused on the core muscles and is therefore brilliant in back pain prevention. It is also good for “keeping fit” and is never boring.
As we only practice in very small groups the teacher will adjust the level of the class to the participants.
Yoga
These are classes designed for all levels of fitness and you are welcome to join and take it at your own pace. We start with relaxation, go through low impact warm up exercises and proceed to deeper poses – they can be focused on particular area like hips or core, or you might get a little bit of everything. You may come across a mix of yoga styles like Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and others, all depending on the teacher in charge of the class.
Hot Yoga
Yoga but in the room warmed up to around 35degC. It takes a while to get used to breathing in this heat so make sure to give yourself plenty of time to adjust. For some students it comes easy, some need even ten classes before they start feeling comfortable. Make sure to bring a mat towel and a bottle of water and dress light for this class.
Slow Yoga
Restorative Yoga
Gentle and calming style of yoga focused on deep relaxation and stillness. It involves holding simple poses for extended periods, often supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks, allowing the body to fully relax and release tension. This practice helps to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting stress reduction, improved sleep, enhanced flexibility, mental calmness, and overall well-being. It is especially beneficial for recovery, stress relief, and fostering a sense of inner peace.
Kundalini Yoga
The practice involves a combination of breathwork (pranayama), physical postures (kriyas), chanting (mantras), meditation, and hand gestures (mudras) to activate Kundalini energy and raise it through the chakras along the spine, leading to heightened consciousness, self-awareness, and spiritual growth.
Powerful and dynamic practice that helps balance emotions, enhance mental clarity, and connect practitioners with cosmic energy.
Yin Yoga
Slow-paced, meditative style of yoga that targets the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as ligaments, joints, and fascia. With long-held passive poses, typically 3 to 5 minutes or more, it encourages deep relaxation, improved joint mobility, and greater flexibility. Yin supports mindfulness and inward awareness, making it ideal for balancing more active yoga practices and relieving stress.
Pregnancy Yoga
Gentle classes focused on you and your baby. We will do a lot of breathing exercises, focus on pelvic muscles to prepare them for the big day, and relax a lot to build up your inner strength. Fantastic opportunity to meet other ladies on this exciting journey and talk about fun stuff and your challenges alike.
Mum & Baby Pilates
Exercise designed to help you recover and rebuild strength after pregnancy and childbirth. It focuses on repairing and strengthening the core muscles, including the deep abdominal muscles, pelvic floor, back, and hips, which are often weakened during pregnancy. Postnatal Pilates helps improve posture, reduce back pain, and tone abdominal muscles while being low-impact and safe for new mothers.
Additionally, it supports mental well-being by incorporating breathing techniques that help manage stress and fatigue common in the postnatal period. It also aids in healing pelvic floor muscles to prevent issues like urinary incontinence and prolapse. Suitable for both natural and C-section births, postnatal Pilates enables you to regain strength, flexibility, and confidence in your body.
Also a great opportunity to meet other mums.
Relaxation Workshop
Deeply relaxing experience that combines the power of guided yogic sleep with soothing sound vibrations. Yoga Nidra gently guides you into a state of conscious deep rest, helping to release stress and restore mental clarity. Meanwhile, the sound bath — mainly using singing bowls — immerses you in healing tones that calm the nervous system and promote emotional balance. Together, they create a blissful journey of relaxation and inner peace.
