CCTV Policy
We use Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) to enhance security and safety on our premises. The CCTV system records video images which are considered personal data under GDPR. We are committed to protecting your privacy and managing CCTV footage responsibly.
Purpose:
CCTV is used solely to protect people and property, prevent unauthorised access and crime, and ensure safety.
Transparency:
Clear signs will be posted where cameras are in use, informing you about the CCTV operation, its purpose, and who controls the data.
The CCTV officer is our Managing Director, Kate Doyle.
Data Protection:
CCTV footage is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel. We keep recordings only as long as necessary, generally not longer than 30 days, unless footage is needed for an ongoing investigation.
Your Rights:
You have the right to request access to CCTV images containing your personal data and to complain if you believe your privacy rights have been violated.
